So, its the second and final semester of high school. everyone knows that its a critical year, and you're gonna make life-changing decisions. I'm gonna make this short and simple, since I really have to study LOTS -_-

For the past 6 months i believe, I've been very inactive on the blog. Blogging and limiting the amount of anime that I watch for the last semester has surely paid off, with a low to mid 80's average of last semester. So Im gonna try to keep this up, but remain the same Otaku as i was before. I applied to University of Toronto Mississauga, Mcmaster university and Ryerson for life sciences, and I'm going to work my way up there. The way I see things, is Knowledge=money=more anime. I havent fully dropped anime episodes out of my lifestyle if you're wondering. They're just on hold until a weekend without any homework or until a Holiday.

Well, first of all, i want to wish everyone a happy new year! 2010 has come, and lets take on the challenges head-on!

I'll keep this short and simple. Since my last update was waaaay back in september, my blog has been dry because of school. I might move over to wordpress later on because i want to put my new itouch to its full potential and use the WordPress app.

FanExpo 2009

Its been a while since I've made a new blog post, since im caught up on everything else after summer classes. Another day at a convention, coming in at a 2 hour line up just for tickets. It was a line to get into another line, for ANOTHER line, up and down 6 escalators in the metro toronto convention centre, right by the CN Tower.

Ended the day going home on the subway from Union at 8:30. Only came home with $20 Rei Ayanami figure by Kotobukiya, and $20 Miku Hatsune "H" door scroll.
Will post pics sometime later, since Kevin Tse has the loot, and i figured not to bring them home since ther are not considered "SAFE".

Makinami Mari Illustrious is EPIC xD

I've watched Evangelion 2.0: You Can [Not] Advance so many times already, the whole movie is practically burned in my head and etched in my bones... ITS THAT EPIC!

The new character, Mari has made her appearance in Unit 05 and a sub for 02. I think she stole my new fav Evangelion character spot!

its been almost a month of summer school, doing grade 12 University english. met lots of new people and made new friends. I feel like i wasted a whole month of sitting down with a pen and paper, giving lectures and presentations. the books to read also was a killer, and i cant forget about the countless hours spent at the library walking around and searching for books, and researching. Although i cant say that i didnt listen and learn anything. its actually a great class, just your wrists starts to hurt and you crave an oppai mousepad by your side.

THIS IS ME AT THE MOMENT. I SHOULD REAAALLLLY BE STUDYING. although everything still seems fresh in my head.

Great... just about a month left of summer, then its back to the books sept 8 >_<

Jack Darling Park Reunion 2009

Reunion at last! it has been almost a full year since many of us got together again. Took place at Jack Darling park by Lakeshore, same place as last year, but was originally planned for Promenade park this year.. Many people missing this year, but was still worth it. Despite the engrish homework I had for the summer school classes, I could not miss out on this day. Not much to explain on this blog post, but was an epic day.

Summer Vacation!

Summer Vacation is here! With the successful completion of grade 11, I can now relax and catch up on sleep (for the next two weeks atleast).

The first two weeks of June have been so crammed full of studies, I had almost no time for anime and rarely had a chance to update my blog. The final four exams were chemistry, physics, biology, and health. I managed to destroy chemistry, but physics the next day was messed up. Why? I studied so hard to get a 90 in the course, but then the UNEXPECTED happened! (Sorry, news story link has expired >_<). The whole school was all over the news, and radio during noontime. During the lockdown, everyone in physics was talking about the exam, asking others what they got. After about an hour and twenty minutes later, the swat team arrived at our class. o_0 WTF?! 0_o The first thing that came to mind, was a crazy gunman was around somewhere. Loaded with M4 rifles and MP5 SMG's and full body armour, we were all in amazement and awe as we were escorted out of the building to a safer location. Everyone acted like little anime school girls; staring and excited.

The majority of the class was on page 6-7 of 12 on the exam, and was left unfinished. So we ended up getting the marks we received on out culminating projects as our final mark, and I know now that for sure I've got over 80 in the course ^^. Although I'm still quite pissed that the exam was terribly easy, didn't finish and yet studied so hard >=| The bio exam took a while, but was fairly simple, and so was health on Friday.

I 'm glad atleast that I was able to take on all three sciences head-on. Thats an accomplishment, a challene that very few would do, and I'm proud of it ^0^;;

And so, here's some pics i took on a beautiful Friday afternoon at my back yard with some of my figures ^^;; (Note: cellphone camera used, and blogger couldnt show the hi-rez RGB quality from Photoshop this time >_<. Will fix this problem next time).

Here's another late post by me. Been busy for the past week due to cramming and studying for exams and final projects >_<

Late Anime North 2009 Pics & Loot

I've been very busy for the last week studying, and i've just decided now to make a new post on my loot. Anime North must have been the best 3 days of the year for me ^0^ Gone to wonderland on the Tuesday, then Anime north during Friday Saturday and Sunday. Many cosplayers this year, and perhaps more otakus.

My weekend pass paid for all 3 days, cuz i preordered with friends. On the friday i went with my anime club from school, takin some of the newbies there for their very first time. We gave lots of tips to those who were planning on spending much, and try to bargain for a lower price. I saved about $100 just by bargaining ^0^ Saturday and Sunday were also amazing as i went with other friends. I didnt expect much or anything new, except for a few new voice actors and events which I only attended some. Nothing is really left to say except that it was better than last year.

Picture quality may be crap for some pics, i was using my cellphone camera >_<

A beautiful warm Friday Afternoon, probably about 20 degrees celcius with no chance of showers. a great way to start off the adventure!

Found this Eva unit 01 for $10! vey cheap indeed yet very flimsy. not very poseable, details are great, i love the nice metallic purple finish, but i needed to add some wax to the bottom of the feet since it wont stand up properly, and the ankles dont have jonts >_<

This also comes with a nice positron rifle, a progressive knive, and the rifle as shown.

My fav figure of the loot is Koto's Harumi Kouno from To Heart 2 another days.

Physics Trip to Canadas Wonderland

So today, me and my friends went on a trip to canada's wonderland ^0^ was probably the best trip i ever had.so many roller coasters, but ony one beats them all; BEHEMOTH! Measuring at the max height of 70 metres (230 feet) with the steepest drop at 75 degrees, a top speed of 124 Km/H (77mph) for about 2 minutes, the wait in line is definitely worth it, even though the line up is 10 minutes max. with no loops, but a huge drop, if you can survive this then you can survive a 3 second drop from Drop Zone ^0^ for sure.

we only went on the Behemoth twice as our first ride, with Paul, Dustin, Stephanie, Ramon, Ryan, Nick and Dean. we headed to the Sledgehammer next, which was okay. nothing quite special. Orbital was next on the list, which just spins you in circles in the air. up next on the list was Skyrider i think, which was a roller coaster that forces you to stand up the whole time. we ended up eating a bit too early today, as Ryan and Nick ordered pizza which was quite expensive, and the rest of us ordered a foot-long hotdog ^0^. Being the brave ride-warriors that we are, we took our time walking towards flight deck (formerly known as Top Gun >_<) which put our stomachs to the test. Luckily, none of us threw up. On the way, we ran into Riptide, which is a pendulum that spins you in circles, and you get soaked with water. First run was a dry run, but later on as our last ride of the day we got in on the wet runs. Up next was either Vortex, which took you around the park, or the Bat, which goes down like a normal roller coaster, then when you reach the end point, you're riding backwards. Was also very loud. Right after that, we went into Drop Tower ^0^ probably the second favored ride in the park. A free fall drop for 3 seconds at 200 feet in the air was amazing ^0^. Then, we all decided to get wet at some point, going on Timberwolf falls, and the White Water Canyon. So after all the rides and splashes, we had to eat. So we ended our day eating Funnel Cake! we changed into dry clothes, then it was off to go home.

What an awesome day! All thats left not is... ANIME NORTH on Friday ^0^

First Blog Post, and MG EX-S Gundam review

Yay! This is my first blog post, and I’ve just started to do this after a long time. I needed to refresh on my html skills, which i haven’t used in 5 years. I decided to make a new blog because i need a new time-killer when I’m not doing anything productive, other than studying or homework >__<. Deciding to make a new blog at this time of year is probably the worst time – a month left till exams, especially when I’ve got hardcore courses at the moment like chemistry, physics, and biology. Well, putting school aside, my inspiration to make a blog is because of Java class during last semester. I loved the course, even though i wasn’t the best at it, nor was I the worst. I’ve got some computer skills in me, so I’ve decided to put it to good use even though I’m not going into any career involving computers.

Master Grade EX-Superior Gundam

Well, here it is, the MG EX-S Gundam which I’ve bought sometime after New Year’s, and build it during March break. I built this for the anime club at school, for the Gundam Modelling Tutorial article that I wrote for the beginner modeller. Its my first master grade Gundam, so I took my time and patience to sand and paint some parts, and topcoat the whole model. I decided to get this model instead of a MG Strike Gundam or an RX-78, since i have a wall scroll of the model on my wall. The details on the Gundam are quite impressive, but very hard to ink as the lines are very thin. Also, it probably has the biggest held gun I’ve ever seen! No shield, which I was disappointed about, but it has many transformations, and also a separate G-Flyer, which is up in my room and too lazy to bring down ^0^. The pics here are taken from my 1.3 megapixel camera phone, since I don’t have any other digital camera (plan to get one soon!!).
